How do I even start. I have had dental issues my whole life thanks to genes and life. I had spent so much money and time over the years attempting to keep my teeth in the best condition they were going to get. After my last typical appointment at another dental office saying “we can do xyz but remember, it’s only temporary and you will need more work done by x timeframe”, I decided to finally look at making the huge change I was so scared to do. I finally made a consult with Dr. Rivera to look into implants. I came to him thinking my only “best option” was to get the type that’s called “all in one” implants and only knew of the kind that had pink at the top for the fake gum area. I never wanted that.

When I met with Dr. Rivera, I had already felt this connection to his office like I knew this was going to be the place to make a big change in my life. Him and his team that first day was so detailed with expectations vs. reality. They were also so thorough in their exam process and ensuring what I was signing up for was exactly what I wanted.

After two appointments, I told Dr. Rivera I wanted to get implants with his office. They offered something I had never seen before- Zirconia implants with NO PINK. Speaking my language. The price was a hard pill to swallow when I first heard about implants but his office was more affordable than others and he did the best implants out there. How could you say no. I could write a book on the full process of everything, but I will make it short and to the point. BEST DECISION of my life.

I did the full process in April in one day to remove my teeth upper and lower and got the implants that next morning. He made sure I didn’t feel anything during the process and his team was with me every step of the way. I felt safe from beginning to end. Since April, I have seen him and his team 20+ times as he does several temporary sets and a ton of exams, adjustments, pictures, X-rays, etc to ensure you get THE PERFECT smile and exactly what you want. As of this month (October), I have my final permanent set and he wasn’t lying- they are everything and more.

I would recommend Dr. Rivera and his team to anyone who would listen. I don’t do reviews but this one was an Honor to do. They have been amazing through every step of my process and I can’t stress enough how much they changed my life. I am more confident, I can finally eat without worry and stress, I don’t worry about how I smile in pictures, and I am just overall more happy in life.

Dr. Rivera is the ultimate professional and along with his staff, they were outstanding with the way they treated me as a patient and how my spouse was kept updated during my procedure. Much impressive to me was how courteous and professional the way the staff communicated with each other and with the doctor. My impression of Dr. Rivera following my initial visit with his clear and layman terms ways of explaining the process, the pros and cons of each approach in my situation, proved to be the deciding factor that brought me to his office. I strongly recommend Dr. Rivera and his staff to anyone looking for dental implant in northern Virginia.
